WHAT TO DO NEAR BALLYNATRAY
Many spouses and partners wish to accompany the Guns out shooting at Ballynatray. For those wishing to opt for something different there are many beautiful walks on the Estate as well as a visit to Ballynatray’s 4th Century Molana Abbey where Raymond Le Cross is buried and the castle and and derelict church at Templemichael. For guests wishing to go further afield, Lismore Castle, once the senior house of the Ballynatray Estate is well worth a visit.
The renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School is only 30 minutes-drive away, where classes can be organised with prior notice for guests wishing to employ their minds. For those wishing to visit Cork City, we highly recommend a visit to the English Market, now a world-famous location following their visit from Her Majesty Queen Elisabeth.
